Joan Saló originally hails from the town of Igualada outside Barcelona. In 2001 he moved to Barcelona to study Fine Arts, moving on from there to study further in both Seville and Bologna. His work began, following this stage in his career, to develop a more pictorial feel.  His recent work centers in the aspects of fleeting time and the structures of abstract meaning. Joan currently lives and works between Barcelona and Berlin.

Endlich Urlaub. Das wurde ja auch mal Zeit. Jetzt nur noch fix entscheiden, was in den Koffer kommt und dann nix wie los. Bye bye Berlin! Bonjour Istanbul!
